In the past it was all about how you announced that you were expecting. Today, it's all about how you announce what you are having!
While some women are opting out of knowing what they are having or holding out on sharing the big news with close friends and family, others are telling the world through social media. But if social media isn't your thing and the task of calling everyone you know by phone is just too time consuming then you can have Gender Reveal Party or have the big reveal at your Baby Shower.
Lately, I've been seeing all these new fun and unique ways to announce the gender of the new addition to your family. All equally adorable in their own way but here are my Top Three Favorites.
MY TOP THREE FAVORITE GENDER REVEAL IDEAS
Number 3:
This idea is super cute if you aren't planning on having a Gender Reveal Party. You can simply purchase/create these adorable scatch cards and insert them in your Baby Shower invitations to announce your baby's gender. Your love ones can keep these as keepsakes in anticipation for your little one's arrival.
Number 2:
Using a cake to reveal your baby's gender is a cute and tasty idea! Start the anticipation with the outer decor of the cake to build up the suspence.
Once you have your cake on display and everyone is just on pins and needles waiting to know what you've having you might want to play some guessing games or pass around a guess sign-in book and have your guest write down which gender they think the baby will be next to their names.
You can also give away fun gifts to the guests that predicted the correct gender.
When its time for the big reveal, the inside of your cake can look like the cakes below:
Number 1:
This idea is by far my favorite especially if you are looking for a more cost effective gender reveal idea. All you have to do is get a huge card board box from any grocery store or department store. You can cover it in gift wrap paper and tie a huge bow around it. Position it in a spot at your Gender Reveal Party where everyone can see it. When the time is right have your guests gather around and let the expecting couple open up the box to reveal a hellium balloon filled explosition of either pink or blue balloons.
Which ever idea you decide on, your love ones will love being apart of the announcement!
